Our 8th VC20 event begins whilst a new Inter-club challenge also takes place!
Our 7th event in the VC20 series – the Crag Rat course is now concluded, so please make sure you’ve submitted your results. We’ll be closing the submissions on Tuesday evening and issuing the results later in the week, along with updated standings and including our first ‘dropped scores’ for the lucky ones! We’ve seen a few attempts logged on Strava which are yet to pop up on our system, so don’t forget! Well done everyone – we might hit a VC20 record turnout! Submit your results here: Submit Event 7 Results
So now our next event – the 8th – is underway! Between today (12th) and 25th October you need to run a 6k night race at a location of your choice. All runners must wear high-vis and a head torch. Runners must also comply with government restrictions (at the time of writing this remains no more than 6 runners all distanced at least 2m apart). For safety reasons, please do not run alone. To coincide with this, our sessions on Thurs 22nd October will be based at Swinsty/Fewston. See our Training Book-in page for details.
Also during the same time period, the latest Inter-club challenge is taking place:
It runs until 6pm on the 25th October and you are challenged to run as far as you can in one continuous run for your club. Post your distance with your selfie, club and name to the ‘Running Club Virtual Challenge’ page on facebook before the deadline (no posts can be counted after the deadline) or forward details to Edna if you are not on facebook.
Good luck, enjoy and Stay Safe!
