FlaminGO 10k run

Matt Durrant of Circle in Flamingo Land is organising a 10k run in the grounds of Flamingo Land zoo and theme park areas, raising money for the Udzungwa Forest project, protecting forests and vulnerable animals in Tanzania.

Cost-£13 Affiliated runners, £15 Unaffiliated runners.

They are also looking for marshals, who will get free tea and coffee, and free entry to the zoo after the run.

Muddy Boots and more Muddy Boots – Results

At Muddy Boots 10k at Ripon on Sunday Stewart Hymas led home the team in 49.26 in 98th place.

Andrea Price in 385th position just edged out Dawn Richardson in 388th with times of 67.34 and 68.03 respectively.

At the 4th Peco Cross Country we had another really good turnout of runners with 3 debutants, Martin Brock, Kate Gray and June Graham.

Every one ran well,and Sima had a top 3 finish in the FV 40 category (3rd).

The 4th Peco XC will take place February 8th at Bodington Hall on the OTLEY Rd, Leeds. Crucially Post code LS16 5P7.

The organiser has highlighted there will be parking problems CAR SHARE PLEASE.

Senior race is 4.5 miles over 2 laps.
