We’ve already reached the fifth event in our VC20 virtual championship!
Start point is the far side of the wooden bridge between Conyngham Hall Farm Ruins and Horseshoe fields.
Run straight ahead across the middle of horseshoe field, turning right when meeting the river and complete a small loop back to the bridge.
Head over the bridge and up the stony path as you would on parkrun.
At the top follow the road all the way to the exit of the Car park.
Turn right and cross the High Bridge, immediately turning right into the Beryl Burton Cycleway.
Follow the Cycleway for its entirety until you reach Bilton Hall Lane. Carefully cross to continue along Bilton Lane.
Follow Bilton Lane all the way to the point where the Greenway (old railway) crosses Bilton Lane - this up the hill, shortly after the Gardener’s Arms.
Turn left onto the old railway towards Starbeck, then almost immediately taking the right hand turn uphill towards Harrogate.
After a quarter of a mile, take the path to the right, down towards Woodfield road, turning right and following the road to its end, meeting Bilton Lane at a T-junction.
Turn Right and head down Bilton Lane, now headed back towards Knaresborough.
Now run back exactly the way you came, all the way to Conyngham Hall.
Your finishing point is where you started, at the far side of the wooden bridge.
Start at the point where the Greenway (Old Railway between Starbeck and Bilton) crosses Bilton Lane.
You begin with a short loop.
Head south towards Starbeck on the old railway (Greenway), almost immediately taking the right hand turn uphill towards Harrogate.
After a quarter of a mile, take the path to the right, down towards Woodfield road, turning right and following the road to its end, meeting Bilton Lane at a T-junction.
Turn Right and head down Bilton Lane, past your start point, now headed towards Knaresborough.
Follow Bilton Lane all the way to its end, heading straight across Bilton Hall Lane and following the Beryl Burton Cycleway all the way to its end on High Bridge, Knaresborough.
Turn Left over High Bridge and then left into Conyngham Hall. Follow the road above the car park towards the Hall and pass to the left of the Stone Gates.
Bear left down the stony track (the parkrun start area) and at the bottom, head across the wooden bridge.
At the end of the bridge, run straight ahead across the middle of horseshoe fields, turn right when meeting the river to complete a small loop back to the bridge.
Now run back exactly the way you came, finishing back at the start point in Bilton.
